Navigation Overview

The topic for this training session is Navigation. This will provide an overview of all the Navigation menus located on the left hand side of the DocketManager screen: Dashboard, Point of Sale, CRM, Quotes, Orders, Production, Inventory, Accounting, Reports, and Settings. It will also teach how to navigate the main components of each and some of the common navigation tips and tricks to use as you are getting familiar with the DocketManager system. This session is ideal for users who are completely new to DocketManager and are unfamiliar with clicking around in the system. Here are some more details about what is covered in this session:

  • Function of different widgets in the Dashboard area
  • Demonstration of products in the Point of Sale area
  • Navigating different tabs available in CRM and how this information is created
  • Examining quote, order, and item views in the Quotes and Orders areas, and how to navigate the tab and table structure
  • Organizing and moving between the production queue workflow tabs, active user queues, and statistics
  • Searching and saving searches in the tables containing printable stock, customer goods, and supplies in the Inventory area
  • Introduction to tabs available in Accounting
  • Looking at the various types of exportable data in Reports
  • Summary of the different Settings icons available
